Ceel Mogami de Haas is an artist and writer based in Amsterdam and Paris. He received his MFA from the University of Art and Design in Geneva in 2010 and was a resident artist at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam from 2016 to 2018. He has recently exhibited at Kunsthalle Mulhouse, Crac Occitanie, Sète, Seager Gallery, London, Kunst Im Tunnel, Düsseldorf, Martin Van Zomeren Gallery, Amsterdam (2023). He works in a wide range of media: from sculpture, drawing, writing, and artist’s books to installation and video art. His recent projects have focused on the intersecting relationship of nature and culture and examined the categories and binary oppositions at the root of human thinking about the natural environment.
