Marina Woodtli

1987*, Schweiz

Marina Woodtli, born in Zurich, is an artist and art mediator.

After completing her Master’s degree in Fine Arts in Art Education in Lucerne and Madrid in 2014, she then worked for two years on a permanent video installation, »Kunst-am-BauProjekt« in Wallisellen, Zurich. Her work has been shown at numerous exhibitions. She attended residencies at Atelier Cité, Paris and in Greece and her artistic work was honored with the Cultural Promotion Prize of the Canton of Graubünden in 2020.

She works as an art teacher at various locations in Switzerland and has been co-directing at BelleVue – Ort für Fotografie, an exhibition space, since 2018. From 2019 to 2023, she studied photography mentored by Sibylle Fendt and Peter Bialobrzeski at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin. She currently works as a curator for outdoor exhibitions in Basel and as a research assistant at Hochschule Luzern – Design Film Kunst. She is the mother of two sons and works and lives in Basel.
