Alessandro Giannelli’s residency at Fundaziun Nairs is supported by Aargauer Kuratorium
Alessandro Giannelli is a Swiss drummer, percussionist, and composer who studied jazz drums at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), graduating in 2011. Since 2013, Alessandro has been active with his electronica band Egopusher, both in Switzerland and abroad, releasing four albums to date.
He also performs as a drummer and percussionist with HOLM, Leech, and Känzig & Känzig, touring across Europe and China. In addition to his live work, Alessandro is active as a producer and studio musician.
Alessandro’s debut solo album, Speranza, featuring compositions for piano and synthesizer in the modern neoclassical style, was released in February 2025.
