the landscape – ‘scape’ the land
sedimenting – sitting on Earth just being another layer
to focus the attention on changes which are neither visible nor audible – cyclical experiences and transformations that occur constantly – not perceptible in itself – Time disappears while stones remain – experiencing landscape as connection/relation – thinking in patches _ patchwork – unlearning our prejudices/biases – to experience the planet and its infinite places and sites simultaneously – as a secret garden … a diasporic exchange – ‘… should I read the stones and rocks, their folds and faults, not as nouns but as verbs’(Marcia Bjornerud ‘Timefulness’ dt. ‘Zeitbewusstheit’ 978-3-7518-0111-9) … telling different versions of Earth?!? – never completing its sentence … the taste of the landscape – to think in geological layers – cosmic dust, human-made pollution, techno-fossils as misplaced matter and novel layers of earth – listening to the noise of this Earth-system … ongoing
