Catherine Lambermont

1968*, Zürich

Catherine Lambermont is a visual artist and has been consistently focused in her practice on the notion of perception and mental landscape.

She paints domestic spaces and commonplace scenes through visual language and seek to explore the idea of emptiness, identity, time, space and memory using various medium: painting, photography, sculpture and installation.

Anonymous life, trivial environment, anecdotal objects turn into mental landscapes, somewhere between reality and fiction.
The off-screen and the space in between sit at the forefront.
