Josefina Imfeld + Lara Ferrari Tummma

Belgien, Argentinien

métodos de supervivencia is a collective which since 2017 brings together Josefina Imfeld and Lara Ferrari Tummma and is currently based in(-between) Argentina and Belgium.

Together we research how to make a sensitive experience shareable and amplifiable and we build choreographies of attention.
Our research is born from the commitment to view affect and sensorial practices as political tools. Our methodologies and procedures are based on imagination, as a way to envision and incorporate other possible realities into the one we inhabit. A methodology of intuition guided by materials.

From there we create our works, which are rather amorphous and move in the field of choreography, dance, performance, archiving, writing, cartography practices and whatever the need of each work leads us to investigate. A methodology of intuition guided by the materials.

We had received the prizes of the Creation Grant of the Metropolitan Founds of Arts (Argentina 2022) and Creation Grant of the National Fund of Arts (Argentina 2021) and the support of  Organización Internacional de Migraciones (Argentina 2024) and Bureau International de Jeunesse (Belgium 2023).
Our projects have been shown in KVS (Brussels, Belgium), Hotel Inminente (Córdoba, Argentina), Summer of Something in Kunsthaus (Zurich, Switzerland), Festival Danzafuera (La Plata, Argentina), Santo Domingo (Valparaíso, Chile), Nos en vera (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Munar (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Jóvenes Creadores (Montevideo, Uruguay), among others.
